We (still) need your help.

Since we founded the Stop Cuck-Stye Action Group in 2022 we have been kept very busy and have scored some notable victories. Most importantly we helped demonstrate to the District Council that the Ansty Farm site should not be brought forward as a new “sustainable development” within the emerging District Plan. We have also (thanks to our supporters) helped fight off a hostile planning application which was designed to sabotage the process.

In spring 2024 the District Plan is due to go to the Planning Inspector and in summer/autumn 2024 there will be a public examination. Fairfax already has a highly experienced and extremely well-resourced team of experts available to them. In addition, they will have engaged the most expensive legal experts available. With an estimated potential profit of around £20 million at stake, Fairfax will be utilising all their resources to try and get the District Plan overturned. We must make sure this doesn’t happen!

This is why we need to secure more funding.

In what looks like a David and Goliath battle, we are confident that with a more modest level of funding at our disposal, supplemented by generous pro-bono guidance and with your continued support, this is a battle that we can and must win.
