Who are SCAG?
The Stop Cuck-stye Action Group (SCAG) is a group of concerned local residents from a wide variety of different backgrounds and experiences who have come together to oppose the unwanted, unsustainable and undemocratic building of 1600 houses in a beautiful and iconic Wealden landscape.

By means of publicity, fundraising and the commissioning of expert reports, we intend to demonstrate that the Ansty Farms site is utterly unsuited for residential and commercial development. As such this site should be removed from Mid Sussex’s draft District Plan.

The District Plan is expected to be formally submitted to the Government's Planning Inspectorate by the end of Spring 2024, but our work doesn't look to be finishing any time soon.
SCAG have a new partnership with the Cuckfield Society, and will be joining with them on any future fundraising activities.
